A statement on the wall
Face covered.
Fully present.
The Guy Fawkes mask has always fascinated me. History, rebellion, playfulness and a touch of chaos, all at once. With Rogue, I wanted to explore that strange mix of being hidden yet completely present. Saying something loud while keeping your face covered.
The figure points outward, almost teasing. Calling you in while staying just out of reach. There is defiance in that gesture, but also a sense of fun: the freedom of stepping out of line and enjoying the moment.
I see this piece on a wall, holding its own as a statement. Or on a T-shirt or sweatshirt, carried into the street and becoming part of someone’s daily life. It can move between surfaces without losing its attitude.
Rogue is a small tribute to those who don’t wait for permission. To the masks we wear, the signals we send, and the way we can turn defiance into something playful. Serious and not serious at the same time. That balance is why it feels true to me.
