01The instinct

Without asking.

An independent design project exploring privacy, autonomy, technology and the systems built around us. The name comes from Renaissance and anarchy — creation, reinvention, and the instinct to question whatever claims authority over us.

It started because I wanted a place to create without asking what performs well, what an algorithm wants to see, or whether something can be monetized.

So I stopped asking.

I make graphics, posters, illustrations and experiments influenced by cypherpunk culture, open-source technology, streetwear, underground print and the occasional system failure.

Sometimes that becomes a masked figure. Sometimes a cartoon with a questionable grin. Sometimes a few words that belong on the back of a hoodie.

There’s frustration in these designs. There’s humour too. I like work that can carry a serious thought without losing its ability to play.

Some designs carry a message. Some are satire.
Some exist simply because I wanted them to exist.

02The person

One person.
Many open tabs.

Renarchy is run by one designer with a full-time job, a family, and an unhealthy tendency to keep making things when everyone else has gone to sleep.

The ideas, the decisions, the occasional overthinking — all mine.

What you see here is the output of whatever has been occupying my head lately: privacy, Bitcoin, surveillance, freedom, control, or something completely unrelated. Sometimes a piece starts with something that bothers me. Other times it starts with a shape, a phrase, or an image I can’t leave alone.

I don’t have a finished manifesto. My work changes as I do. There’s room here for conviction, contradiction, experiments and mistakes.

My work has also appeared through projects and collaborations including Ungovernable Misfits and CryptoCloaks.

03Your world

Made by me.
Taken somewhere by you.

The mockups show how I imagine the work out in the world. You might see something else.

A print for your room. A sleeve detail. A sticker on a scratched laptop. Something I wouldn’t have thought of.

That’s a good reason to share the files.

The free archive is available to download in high resolution. No account, no email address, no tracking profile required.

Use it. Print it. Remix it. Make something physical for yourself.

Find something to make your own

Personal use and remixing are welcome. If you want to sell the designs or products using them, get in touch first. Commissioned work is shown here as a showcase and isn’t part of the download archive.

04 / Value for valueVoluntary. Always.

If nobody pays,
the work
still exists.

If something I made has value to you, you can return that value.

Donations help fuel the next project. They’re voluntary, and the files stay available either way. I prefer that exchange to artificial scarcity and locked content.

That’s the point.

05A conversation

I also create commissioned artwork for clothing, posters and other projects that connect with my style.

If something here feels right for what you’re building, send me a message on X or Telegram.

A rough idea is enough to start a conversation.
