01 / THE IDEA

You lost.
We watch.

Privacy never disappears in one moment. It erodes gradually: law after law, crisis after crisis, each one packaged as a necessary trade-off for safety. A little more access. A little more control. A little more of you.

The line ‘I have nothing to hide’ misses the point. Privacy was never about hiding. It is about who gets power over your life when you stop guarding your own boundaries. RIP Privacy takes aim at state and corporate surveillance, and the illusion of protection that makes it feel normal.

The camera does more than watch. It mocks the freedom it replaced. A spray can, graffiti on a gravestone and a cartoon stance give the dystopia a playful edge. Retro cartoon anatomy, bold lettering and street-art energy turn the image into something that feels like propaganda disguised as design.

RIP Privacy isn’t a warning. It’s a headstone we’ve been carving ourselves.
