White hoodie / original graphic
Read the word.
Question the instruction.
A hooded face. A hard frame. Four letters that refuse to fall in line. DEFY takes the familiar visual language of an instruction and points it in another direction. Think for yourself. Decide what deserves your agreement.
This is the first version of that idea. Stripped back to black, white and red, with sharp shapes and a face that stays out of reach. A small chest label can carry it quietly. A full back print or a poster gives it room to speak.
The solid versions hold their own blocks of colour. The transparent treatments leave parts of the graphic open, letting the surface underneath become part of the design. Same face. Different presence. Choose what fits the thing you want to make.
This is a starting point. Print it, move it, change the scale, try another surface. An independent interpretation, made to keep evolving. Obedience was never the only option.
Take the art.
Make it yours.
Print it. Wear it. Rework it.
