Art print / Yellow and navy
Keep the part
they cannot correct.
There is a particular kind of pressure in being told to improve. Be more useful. More productive. Easier to understand. The instructions keep arriving, and somewhere between the updates you can start to lose track of who asked for them.
Error by Design is about keeping something of yourself out of that process. An awkward question. A private thought. An idea that makes no sense on a spreadsheet but gives you a reason to stay up late and make something.
I wanted this piece to carry that stubbornness with a little lightness. Bright colour, an open gaze, a figure that feels at home in its own skin. Independence can be quiet and ordinary. Sometimes it is simply deciding that you are already allowed to be here.
Put it somewhere you will see it. On the wall beside the things you are working on, or on the screen you reach for every day. A small reminder to question what is being corrected, and whose idea of better you are being asked to become.
Take the art.
Make it yours.
Print it. Wear it. Rework it.
